Mikey G for Model Number med5740tq0 how do I get the top off my maytag dryer? I used a putty knife to pop up the front and loosened the screws on rear hinges. afraid I will bend something?
Answer Mikey, You're doing fine, you can tighten the hinge screws back up first. You also need to remove the lint filter, and remove the two screws under the filter that hold the filter housing to the dryer top, then raise it up. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
