Bill for Model Number GU1200XTLQ1 My elderly neighbor had a mouse chew up the drain hoses on her Whirlpool dishwasher. There are 2 hoses that were chewed up and I can't tell where they split or connect. Do you know where I can find a diagram or picture of the hose connections? Thank you
Answer Hello Bill, The only drain hose on the unit is the one that goes from the pump housing to the sink drain. It does go up the side of the unit and back down. This loop is necessary for proper draining so if it has to be replaced, this loop has to be present in addition to the loop up to countertop level under the sink before connecting to the drain. There is a fill line that runs from the home plumbing to the water valve and then there is an inlet hose that goes from the water valve to the water inlet assembly on the right side of the unit. There are no other water hoses under the unit external to the pump assemblies. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, February 28, 2014
