Dan for Model Number KUDIO1TJBLO I think I asked the wrong question-are there any check valves inside the drain hose ap3178188 part? And if so where is it located? In the elbow bend "red" or elsewhere? It says the hose comes with a check valve so I am assuming there must be one in there somewhere. I know about the little black one in the bottom of the sump.
Answer Hello Dan, Yes sir, there is a check valve made in the drain hose. It is in the end with the 90° elbow that attaches to the output on the pump. It is non-serviceable and absolutely necessary.
