Jim S. for Model Number ice maker again So, the drain pump is attached and the water removed goes where? Back in the system or another drain? Would attaching this to our current drain help enclose that pipe and prevent it from being exposed - especially during the winter? If this thing costs about $200, it is probably to what the Sears service man referred. Thanks.
Answer Hello Jim! Here is the information that we have available for this pump: Remove water resulting from melting ice with the Condensate Water Pump. Water pump fits all 50 lb. ice makers that were manufactured in 2000 and later. Condensate Water Pump is designed to pump excess water up to ten feet high. You would attach this to the Ice machine and the water will be removed and drained into whichever place you have it draining into. Please keep in mind, the unit can pump up to 10' high. I hope this information helps you! Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, March 17, 2011
