I can get water out of the water dispenser ... But no ice and the ice maker is not making any ice, Can you identify my problem? Thank you, Jackie L.
1 Answer Hello Jackie! Check to see if the fill tube is frozen or has developed a leak. If the tray is not being filled and the line is not frozen, you may have an issue with the valve W10408179. I would check this first. Thanks. Read More...
Cw May 02, 2011 for Model Number roper I have a roper side by side with ice and water in door. Its about 5 yrs old. I have replaced the ice maker when it quit working. It worked a few weeks then quit, then I put the old one back in and it did the same thing. I was wondering if something else is out and not the icemaker itself, like a controller or timer to it that is a different componet?
1 Answer Hello CW! Is there there ice in the mold of the icemaker? If yes what's the temp in the freezer? The freezer should be freezing constantly between 0-5 degrees. Thanks. Read More...
Jim S. March 16, 2011 for Model Number ice maker again So, the drain pump is attached and the water removed goes where? Back in the system or another drain? Would attaching this to our current drain help enclose that pipe and prevent it from being exposed - especially during the winter? If this thing costs about $200, it is probably to what the Sears service man referred. Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Jim! Here is the information that we have available for this pump: Remove water resulting from melting ice with the Condensate Water Pump. Water pump fits all 50 lb. ice makers that were manufactured in 2000 and later. Condensate Water Pump is designed to pump excess water up to ten feet high. You would attach this to the Ice machine and the water will be removed and drained into whichever place you have it draining into. Please keep in mind, the unit can pump up to 10' high. I hope this information helps you! Read More...
Jim S. March 15, 2011 for Model Number 6.89489998 This is a Sears Kenmore Coldspot freestanding icemaker. Please, is there an attachment we may purchase that recycles the water? We have to turn off the icemaker in the winter because the line is exposed under that house and the overflow line freezes. Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Jim! I'm not so sure exactly what you are speaking of. I have, however, located a drain pump kit 1901A. This is a condensate water pump kit. It removes water from melting ice. Hope this helps you! Read More...
