Steve, There is a plastic piece that should be on the front of the icemaker called an ice stripper. If the ice stripper is not in place or has a wrong stripper then the icemaker will dump ice on the floor instead of in the bin. The ice stripper should be angled for the ice to slide down and out toward the bin. The part number for the stripper is W10297244.
