Andrew for Model Number GD5RHAXNB00 Hello i have a whirlpool gd5rhaxnb00 with an ice maker. The optics are fine, i replaced the control module, it did not produce ice for 16 hours. Unplugged the fridge for about 5 minutes, and jumped the motor. Everything seemed to work fine. The tines spun, seemed like the heater engaged, and it filled with water at the end. Now it will not eject the ice after 12 hours. Does this mean the thermostat needs to be replaced? Thank you for your help
Answer Andrew, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty thermostat on the icemaker of the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, November 25, 2016
