Doug for Model Number ED5GTGXNQ00 My ice maker is making ice, but it doesn't seem to eject it and start a new tray as fast as I would think. It seems like the ice is frozen and in the unit for a LONG time before it's ejected into the ice bin. Is there a way to make that part move faster? Or does it just sense when the ice is frozen? I can see two places for adjustment on the control module, but don't know what they do or how much to adjust them. Thanks for any help.
Answer Doug, The start of the ejection is controlled by the temperature, make sure the temperature is between 0 & 8°f for proper operation. If the temperature is not in range then the issue is a cooling issue and not an ice maker issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, February 13, 2024
