Josiah for Model Number GSF26C5EXB02 The ice maker does not harvest the ice from the ice mold. It automatically fills up with water but doesn't ever push out the ice into the ice bin. After a period of time water is again sent to the ice mold and it overflows (due to the ice still in the mold) into the ice bin and out the door. I have replaced the ice maker (AP6017832) as recommended by the answers to similar issues but the same issue continues. Is there a control board or sensor that may not be telling the ice maker to harvest the ice that would actually be the issue?
Answer Hello Josiah, This is an issue with the icemaker assembly WPW10251076 since the ice mold has to heat up so it can cycle. There will also be an issue with the motor module inside the icemaker since the icemaker has to cycle around before voltage is sent to the water valve to refill. Read More...
