Brian for Model Number GSF26C4EXB02 Hello again. Based on your advice I ordered the receiver W10898445 because I wasn't getting power to my icemaker with both door switches and the icemaker flap pressed. I installed the new receiver today and I still don't have power going to my icemaker. Any thoughts? Thanks again.
Answer Brian, You will need to test again the bin status at test 15 to make sure the optics are working and test 17 to make sure the door switch is operating correctly. I will send you a service sheet for you to enter the diagnostics. Remember power goes to the ice maker from the main control on P3 connector pin 3 is the voltage and a neutral is P1 connector pin 2. This is a test point for voltage if the bin is in place and not full and doors shut 120 vac should be supplied to the icemaker. Read More...
