Brian for Model Number WSF26C3EXW01 Icemaker wasn't making / ejecting ice. Had ice in the mold. I did the optics test and the display would change from 1 to 2 when the flap was pressed. I installed a new icemaker and used a jumper wire to cycle the icemaker. It went through a cycle but never sent water to the new icemaker. I cycled the icemaker again. It went through about half the cycle and stopped. I checked for power coming into the door / icemaker at the plug and didn't have any power. I have no idea why it stopped mid cycle. Any ideas? Thanks.
Answer Hello Brian, once the control board sees the harvest cycle completed, it shortly cancels the power to the ice maker to prevent a possible double water fill, power may be delayed about 20 minutes or more, to bypass this for ice maker testing the power to the ref has to be turned off then back on to reset the timer in the main control board. If the ice maker has not worked for a few days the water in the fill tube that runs through the freezer door may have frozen as the control board will turn off power to the tube heater, It usually takes the time of about 3 ice maker cycles to unfreeze the tube.
