George for Model Number GSF26C4EXB00 Having issue with ice maker not getting enough water. Plenty of water at the water dispenser at the door. Already replaced the ice maker. Only makes about 20 cubes per day. I was thinking the fill tube may be clogged. Is that a solenoid in the ice maker with the red black connector at the fill tube. If so I need the part number. Plenty of flow to the refrigerator. Your thoughts?
Answer George, if the freezer is maintaining proper temperature and verified with a thermometer, the water level in the ice maker would need to be checked to identify if it is not filling properly. If the water level is not proper, or if ice cubes have lines like there are multiple layers of water freezing at different times, then the water valve WPW10258562 would be the most likely cause of failure.
