Michael for Model Number WRS558F1HW00 After replacing the the ice maker I noticed that the ice level lever did not drop down. I would have thought that it would. Does this mean that there is an electrical problem or that a section of the circuit board is bad? Is there a way to check this?
Answer Hello Michael, thank you for contacting APP, This icemaker does not lower the lever by itself, if the lever is straight out to the side of the icemaker it is in the OFF position and will need to be placed in the ON position manually.
