Diane for Model Number WMH31017HS0 Microwave kept saying close door when it was already closed. So I then slammed it close to see if it would register which then broke something as the door would not stay closed at all. What parts do I need to replace to make the door latch again? Also, light would flicker when opened door if that means anything.
Answer Hello Diane. Most likely there is one or more broken parts inside at the door latch.There are two interlock supports, plate cam and three door switches. To determine what is exactly broken, you'll need to take the unit out, remove the outer cover and closely examine all those parts. Also, don't forget to check the door latch on the door itself.
