The problem is that the old knob isn't grabbing, making purchase, etc. It just free-wheels around. It is plastic and is broken. I don't know how to get it off. Could I force it into two pieces and get it out?
Answer Hello Carole. If you can not get the knob to turn backwards, then the timer 31239 is bad and will need to be replaced with the knob. Then use a hacksaw or pair of pliers and cut the knob from the shaft or break it off the shaft. Be careful not to damage the control panel. Read More...
