Julie for Model Number kgst307hbs4 I ordered part number 9755428 to convert my stove to propane. I received 4 of the same and one differnet, assuming that the four of the same were for the burners and the one differnent was for the oven. I installed the 4 and they work. The one for the oven isnt even close to the same as what came out. The one that came out is threaded on the inside and is approx 3/8 in ID. The one I was provided is threaded on the outside and is approx 1/4 in OD. Can the bigger one be soldered up and re-drilled? Or do I need to order another part?
Answer Hi Julie. The top burners are working well according to your explanations. The bake burner orifice is in the convertible safety valve. You will need to remove the bake burner and then use a 1/2" open end wrench to adjust the orifice hood down onto the internal tapered jet. Then adjust the shutter window for no flame lift off and no or as little as yellow tips as possible. The orifice (5th-one in kit) is the broil burner orifice. Install this one there.
