Sandy for Model Number GHW9150PW0 - Duet Washer I read Joey's comment about striking the upper rear of the washer when I get an F-DL code (door lock fault). I tried it and my washer started after 4 tries - thanks Joey! Question: Is there a danger (electrical?) if I continue to do this? I've had this problem on and off for over a year and I always hear a faint click in the back like Jon C. Prior to today the washer usually started to work after I walked away for a while and then pushed the start button.
Answer Hello Sandy. It is not recommened to do this to the washer. You will need to look for loose or broken wires. If none is found, you will need to replace the control board WP8182695. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, June 6, 2011
