Al for Model Number GHW9200LW I have the same problem as the first question. (Door came unlocked in spin cycle). If I purchase a door locking part, is there some sort of installation instuction on how to do this? I'm afraid once I take it apart I won't be able to put it back together.
Answer Hi Al. Installation is fairly simple. Remove power. Then open the door. Remove the spring clamp that holds the front lip of the door bellows/boot on the front panel. Remove the rt. side of the door boot, just enough to fold back and your hand to access the door switch. Take the door latch screws off and unhook the elect. connectors. They are really a snap lock type release and pull off. Mark them so you will put them back correctly on the new switch. The latch part # is WP8182634. Thank you. Read More...
