Momtoboys for Model Number 11045872400 I know that my door latch is bad on my machine. I can "tape" the door closed and the cycles will run. I want to order the part and fix it myself. I have read other responses but don't understand how to access the area where the part is located (on the right side of the machine). I'm afraid I will compromise the seal by messing with the rubber ring. Please help! I do not have $300 to spend on a repair! Thanks!
Answer Hello Momtoboys. You will need to remove the door boot from the front panel and remove the screws holding the latch assembly in place. Unplug the wires going to the old switch and install them onto the new switch WP8182634. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More...
