Joe for Model Number NFW7200TW The door will not close and lock. It seems like the lock is not open to accept the plastic tip on the door. Don't know if the lock is broken or if it is not receiving a signal to open?
Answer Hi Joe. If the door latch is acting this way then you need to replace with the new latch part # WP8182634. However if the door lever (strike) is not floating between the 2- mount screws, then the door will not latch also. Door lever part # WP34001260. The most common repair is to replace these parts and make sure your unit is level front to back and side to side. Lock the nuts on the legs up against the base tight to keep level.
