Joanne for Model Number GHW9250MW2 My whirlpool washer was cutting of not making the full cycle. I was told to buy central control unit,put it on have the same problem.Now I was told the door lock needs changing because it has a problem would that solve the problem for the maching to work again. I am confused, the machine is just 5yrs old ?
Answer Hi Joane. By your explanation, it does sound like the door latch will be the issue. Part # WP8182634. If the door striker is damaged or not "floating" in position then it is part # WP8181651. Is it giving a fault code of F-DU or F- DL ? There is a tech sheet folded up ion a packet in the cabinet so you can put the unit in a diagnostic mode to assist. you.
