Stephanie for Model Number ghw9100lw1 worldpool duet washer After completing numerous loads consecutively on my 7 year old whirlpool duet washer, nothing happens in response to pushing buttons...no error, no numbers...no sounds...nothing. We tried to do a diagnostic test...nothing would turn on...The only thing we get to respond is the control lock goes on and off. We unplugged, let sit and tried again. How do we go about identifying the problem? We recently replaced the drain pump weeks ago, everything seemed to work fine. No other maintenance has been required in the past.
Answer Hello Stephanie. You will need to check and see if there is a loose connection somewhere. Check all the control board connections and make sure they are good and tight. If all the connections are good, you will need to make sure there is power coming to the board. If you have power to the board, but it does not come on, then the board may be bad. Hope this helps.
