Ohio_P Just ordered and replaced the door switch assembly (AP3837611). Took 10 minutes from opening the box to start of clean up. It appears that the only thing wrong with my old unit is the plastic piece that protrudes through the washer wall and depresses when you shut the door. It also resets the lock when you open the door. I was able to manually reset the lock until the replacement came in but this cheap plastic piece is all that needs to be replaced. I'd like to know if there is a way to get that piece so I can keep it as a back up. BTW...ordered the part on a Monday and had it waiting for me when I got home from work on Tuesday!!! Awesome...saved me $30.
