Leonid for Model Number Kenmore Elite washer mashine model # 11020982992 I have a Kenmore Elite washer mashine, model # 11020982992. The washer is filled up, its still washing, but not drain or spin. The tub is full of water. What is the reason why my washer doesn't drain? If I need a Lid Switch than what part # do I need to buy?
Answer Hello Leonid. You will need to test the lid switch and see if it is broke or bad. WP8054980 is the correct lid switch according to the model number you provided. The lid switch should read closed when the lid is closed and open when it is open. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
