Joe for Model Number Maytag LAT3500AAE When I pull the knob to start the water fill nothing happens. Whether or not lid is up or down. It almost seems like there is no power, but the power outlet works fine. I replaced timer but still have same problem. Could this be the lid switch? I depress the switch and I hear the click?
Answer Hello Joe. If the lid switch is bad, and is not making up the neutral, it can cause the problems your having. You will need to test the lid switch and see if it is working properly. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
