Larry for Model Number KBHC179JSS03 Oven would only display "door." Found open line switch. Replaced and only had the clock on the display with no other functions. Replaced touchpad and have all functions now. Put a plate in the oven, pressed start. Oven growled for about half of second then the door was displayed. What could have caused the fuse to blow again? (Assuming that is what happened).
Answer Hello Larry, If it is the fuse blowing every time there is most likely a shorted component. You will have to open it up and test the components and make sure you test to the housing on each for a direct short to ground. This includes the high voltage transformer, the high voltage capacitor, the magnetron, and the harness. Be sure to unplug the unit and discharge the high voltage capacitor before servicing to prevent personal injury. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, January 15, 2015
