Chels for Model Number Wmh32519fs My whirlpool over the counter microwave is not heating and it makes a loud buzzing noise. I was told it might be the magnetron. Is there anything else I should test first though?
Answer Chels, With the buzzing noise, we assume there is voltage to the high-voltage components. There is testing information for all the high-voltage components in the tech sheet. We urge extreme caution when testing because of the danger of stored high voltage in the capacitor. Make sure you short the terminals of the capacitor before doing anything in that area. Read More...
