Jay for Model Number rbs245pdq12 My oven will lock up on it's own, if I try to heat it up, even at 350, it will try and start to get warm, but will stop. When I press and hold the cancel button I get a E0 F3 error. Does this sound like a control board issue?
Answer Jay, The F3 E0 is an open temperature sensor. You will want to check the wiring between the temp sensor and the control board to make sure that it is not damaged. If this checks ok then do a resistance check on the oven sensor. The resistance should read 1080 ohms at 70 degrees and if you test it during a cycle you would add 2 ohms for every 1 degree of temperature rise. If the resistance is not correct then replace the oven sensor. If the resistance is good then this would be a faulty control board. Read More...
