Carolyn Ross for Model Number rs696pxgq6 I have replaced the microcomputer,(ap3177932). and the control panel,(ap3176848). Both are brand new, but I'm still getting the e1 f2 fault code. It will come up and every button works. The oven will kick on and count down the time to preheat. (along with the fan.) Then it will shut off and display the e1 f2 fault again. I tried the old computer and it did not show the fault codes. But the fan immediately kicked on and the oven wont countdown the preheat. Please help me figure out what is going on with my oven. Answer Carolyn, You will need to check the insertion end of the keypad ribbon and make sure the end was not accidentally coverred with lubricant or plastic material on the production line. Check and make sure the ribbon is not creased or torn anywhere. Make sure the end of the ribbon is inserted into the microcomputer connector properly and tightly. " F2 E1 Keypad keytail not connected 1. Check keypad connector for firm connection.2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 sec., replace keypad.3. Replace control."
