Alex for Model Number khms155lss-3 I ran the test and the "8" didn't display. So it looks like the control panel need to be replaced, part AP4512484. How do I remove the old to replace? Is there a guide somewhere that can walk me through it? Are my findings corrrect?
Answer Hi Alex. Please investigate, then remove the (usually) 3- screws on top of the cabinet at the front, that holds the grill- vent cover assembly in place. That part # is 8184608 for black, and 8183948for white in case you need them. Then you will see the screw on top of the control panel assembly that you remove. Then the Panel will lift up approx. 1/4" and pull forward. Please make sure that the unit circuit breaker is off, or the unit unplugged for safety issues/ concerns.The control panel part #W10306627.
