Larry My dryer does nothing, at all. I have checked the thermal fuse, the start button, the door switch and all other plugs that I could and all was fine. The blower vent isn't clogged and the belt is on the tube, it turns by hand so the motor isn't locked up. I have 220 from the brakes to the wall outlet to the dryer. What is the most likely problem? It was working fine, worked this morning but this evening it isn't doing anything.
Answer Hello Larry. If the belt, door switch, and thermal fuse are good, then either the start button or motor has failed on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
