Tom for Model Number Whirlpool Ultimate Care II Washer GSW9800P Washer fills, agitates, pauses drains (no spin during drain), then spins, refills for rinse, pauses, then drains (no spin during drain) BUT buzzer sounds all during this drain period, then pauses, and spins and completes cycle fine. I can avoid the buzzer during the second drain period if, during the pause simply push in or out 1 time the control knob. I have bypassed the lid switch, but it had the same effect with the buzzer as pushing in or out the timer control knob so I thought maybe lid switch was bad so bypassed it. It still buzzes while draining on the drain after rinse. So I know lid switch not the problem, and if I tolerate that horrible buzzer it does everything as it should so I believe my buzzer switch is bad. Can I simply unwire the buzzer switch or replace the buzzer switch? Thanks for any advice you can give. Tom
Answer Tom, Its sounds like you have some stuck contacts in the timer. If contacts 9 and 32 or 32r is closed during the spin setting replace the timer. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, May 20, 2019
