Doug for Model Number whirlpool gs445lems One of my burners on my Whirlpool stove is not lighting up. It lights up if I put a match to it. I checked the igniter and I see the spark. I checked the surface burner for debris and all is clean. Other burners work fine. Is it possible that the igniter is still bad even though I see the spark. Not sure what to replace.
Answer Doug, It is possible for the igniter to be bad if it is not sparking in the proper position it will not light the burner. Double check to make sure that the cap and burner head are clean and if they are then replace the igniter. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, March 13, 2019
