C.R. for Model Number MGR5875QDS Only one burner switch will activate the spark for all 5 burners. I'm not sure which part to purchase to fix the problem, the Spark Module, or Switch. Is there a way to check which part is bad, or could it be something else?
Answer Hello C.R., The manufacturer of all brands were required years ago to make ALL of the surface ignitors spark when any were activated in case the ignitors were wired incorrectly. In light of this information, there doesn't appear to be an issue with your unit at all since this is a preventative safety measure built into the unit. Read More...
