Rob for Model Number JDR8895 AAB/S/N Hello - Two of my five burners won't ignite when I try to start with their respective control knobs. However, these burners will spark when I start the other other burners with the control knob. Is this an issue with the spark module?
Answer Hello Rob, You will want to check continuity of the ignition switches. Turn off gas to unit. With valve turned in on position check across the leads of each switch for continuity. If there is no continuity then the switches are bad. Also check to make sure that the ignitors are not bent to where they will not allow sparking. If these check ok then also check the wiring from the switches to the spark module to make sure that there are no broken or damaged wires. Read More...
