Joe for Model Number KRFF507ESS01 There are 5 lights on the top of the fridge, 4 on the sides, and one in the freezer. The lights on the top of my Fridge compartment are not working. The other lights are working The schematic does not tell me how to test the voltage coming from the control board AURORA to these lights. The control board chart states connector P2-1 to P2-2. The schematic shows P3-1 P3-2 for these lights. Do you know what voltage I should read? Otherwise how do I trouble shoot this problem? thanks so much Joe
Answer Joe, You have 120 vac coming from the main control board to the led driver board when the doors are opened. We know the supply voltage is good to the driver board because the other lights are working. The driver board is located right below the main control board and to the right should be a six-pin connector. The driver board will turn the supply voltage into a direct current and should read 14 vdc. You should be able to read between pins 1 and 2,3 and 4, 5 and 6 the dc voltage to the lights when doors opened. No voltage to the lights on the all the pins then replace the driver boards. If correct voltage then rep[lace the lights. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, September 16, 2019
