Jan for Model Number WRF767SDHZ00 Unit is 18 months old. About 3 months ago the freezer led light(s) stopped working. Today the top 5 led lights in the refrigerator section flickered and then stopped working. The remaining 4 led lights located on the sides of the refrigerator section are currently working.???? Does each led light unit need to be replaced- thought they had a much longer lived than 18 months!! Does the failure of freezer lights and now some of the refrigerator lights speak to a bigger problem? Thank you
Answer Jan, it is likely that the failed freezer light W11683243 is causing this issue. A way it can be verified would be to tape the freezer door switch down, remove the light, and use a small wire to jump the connection after removing the light. Once this is done, open the refrigerator door to identify if the lights work properly. If the refrigerator lights work properly, the freezer light shorted out and would need to be replaced.
