Sam, In order to connect the overload and relay assembly, there is a tip on one end of the relay. With the relay tip facing down the blue will connect to the right side of the relay. You will then need to cut the connector off the 2 white wires and put a 1/4" female spade connector on the 2 wires. You will then connect this set of wires to the terminal on the left of the tip. Once wired you will install the overload first then you will install the relay which will sit kind of over the relay legs to help hold it in place.
