Pat, The manufacturer has discontinued the part for your model, and no replacement is available from the manufacturer. The part you ask about may or may not operate your compressor, but is not recommended by the manufacturer. Therefore, if used on your model there is no guarantee it will function or would the part be warranted.

Joseph, as there are two wire sets going to the original relay, the use of a single terminal relay would not properly work. As the manufacturer does not provide a part listing for this model, we would not be able to recommend a replacement nor how to modify the wiring.

Clete, The part number that would be needed for the overload is WP4344040 which has been discontinued. You would simply just splice the 2 black wires together to attach onto the single terminal. It is recommended to replace the overload when replacing the relay.

Robert, You can test for voltage to make sure you are getting 120 vac and then check the compressor pins looking for resistances between common and start and common to run should equal readings between the start and run. The common pin is always by itself.
