Billb for Model Number ss25hfxls00 Hello The compressor on my Whirlpool side-by-side quit working and I smelled burnt plastic. I pulled the starter relay and it is badly burned and the capacitor that plugs into it shows exterior damage from the overheated relay. I assume I should replace the capacitor as well. Correct? The capacitor (I assume it is a capacitor) is a black box approx. 2.25" X 1.25" X .75". Is a capacitor included in with the starter kit? Or do I have to purchase that separatey? If so, do you sell a replacement capacitor? My real concern is that the compressor is bad but I first want to try replacing these parts to see that will fix it. Thanks
Answer Bill, The capacitor for the unit is part number WPW10662129. Replacing the start relay, overload and capacitor would be the parts to replace. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, June 3, 2013
