Paul for Model Number MDB7749AWQ2 Hello, my Maytag dishwasher suddenly stopped working. None of the Cycle buttons light up when pushed. The Options buttons do light up. But the unit will not run when Run is pushed, I suspect this is because it thinks that no cycle has been chosen. I've tried the usual clean and re-seat the connectors, checking the door switch. It seems to know when the door is closed as when AC power is turned back on with door open, closing the door causes the pump to run shortly apparently a normal response to AC power coming back on after power failure. But after that, then back to no response on Options and does not run. Do you think it is the control board or the front panel buttons? Hint, I've replaced the front panel a few years ago with p/n W10199663. At that time I diagnosed the problem an open diode in the front panel button matrix. I had to literally dig into the plastic to get at each diode/button, was a real pain. But I'm suspicious that yet another AC power surge has taken out another diode. thanks
