Dan for Model Number MDB5600AWB Had the ground wire to my house break from some tree branch resting on caused many different appliances to short out. Dishwasher does not turn on at all shows no sign of power on control panel. Do you think it may be the control panel that went bad and or possibly door switch. Is there any fuses that I am not aware of in the appliance that may need replacing. Any suggestions on how to test to see why it is not working Thank you in advance
Answer Dan, You will want to check to make sure that you are getting 120 vac to the power supply on the unit. If you are getting 120 vac at the junction box then you will need to check to make sure that you are getting 120 vac at the control board. If there is power then you would need to replace the control board. If not then check wiring from the main supply back to the control board. Read More...
