Boo Boo for Model Number MDB4650AWW How can I tell if it's the control panel or the control board that needs to be replaced? About a year ago, some of the cycles and options were no longer available. However, a few days ago, it quit working all together. Some of the lights light up when I try to press the cycle button, but nothing happens when I push start.
Answer Boo Boo, We're pretty sure you have several key pads that have failed on the control panel 6-919090. The basic procedure, is to conduct the Manual Function Test and the Field Service Test. You could also remove the panel and test each key pad circuit with a multi meter, as well You'll need to remove the lower kick plate panel, and the tech data information sheet should be attached to the backside of the panel, in a plastic bag.
