Melissa for Model Number MDB6601AWW Hello, I seen where white was discontinued for this dishwasher (6-919824). The only option it gives is to replace with 6-919822 which is black. So, my question is I got part 6-919845 so it wouldn't be such a bad clash. Well that part doesn't have tough scrub button. I can live without tough scrub, just wanted to get someone else's opinion on if that would be ok to run like that. Already ran a load and all cycles work just wasn't sure if it would present a fire hazard or if it will just be a empty slot where the ribbon plugs in.
Answer Melissa, As long as there were no loose electrical wires left loose or hanging inside the door panel, then it should be a matter of fewer/missing tracers on the key pad ribbon. The control boards are very similar but there are new or re routed circuits on the board.
