Montana for Model Number MDC4650AWW About two weeks ago, the lights on the right half of the display on the control panel stopped working. However, the dishwasher would still start and run fine. Then a couple of days ago, the dishwasher would not start. I noticed that if I kept pressing the Delay button several times, it would then light up the lights on the delay. If I kept pushing the delay button until the delay lights were all off, then the machine would start. Now the dishwasher will not start at all. I have removed the inside panel and checked all of the door switches and they are working fine. I am thinking that it is the buttons on the control panel that are not working. Help
Answer Montana, You will want to check the ribbon harness for the control panel and make sure that there is no corrosion on the pins of the control board or the ribbon cable. If there is corrosion then you can clean with an electrical contact cleaner. If this checks ok then the control panel 6-919833 would be the issue. Read More...
