Jenny July 18, 2014 for Model Number Maytag Quiet series 200 I have had this dishwasher for about 10-11 years and was working fine until one day it just stopped. Pushing the start button and nothing. no lights no action just dead- after researching thinking I need a new control panel- tried going in and cleaning the flex ribbon but still nothing. So I was wondering if there would be anything else going on with it? any help is much appreciated!!

Montana March 16, 2014 for Model Number MDC4650AWW About two weeks ago, the lights on the right half of the display on the control panel stopped working. However, the dishwasher would still start and run fine. Then a couple of days ago, the dishwasher would not start. I noticed that if I kept pressing the Delay button several times, it would then light up the lights on the delay. If I kept pushing the delay button until the delay lights were all off, then the machine would start. Now the dishwasher will not start at all. I have removed the inside panel and checked all of the door switches and they are working fine. I am thinking that it is the buttons on the control panel that are not working. Help
1 Answer Montana, You will want to check the ribbon harness for the control panel and make sure that there is no corrosion on the pins of the control board or the ribbon cable. John December 06, 2013 for Model Number MDB4651AWWO maytag 200 quiet series I have had this dishwasher for about 5 yrs. Over time all the push buttons on the panel no longer functioned or lit up. Over the past few weeks the start/cancel button wouldn't light up but the machine would still run. The past few days I have had to push the start button several times before it would remain running. It would start, and run for a minute then stop. After the second push on the start button it will go through it's cycle. Any suggestions on the part (s) I might need to solve this problem.
