Rodger for Model Number Maytag Dishwasher MDBH975AWB We have a Maytag MDBH975AWB dishwasher that has been great till a week ago. We thought that we got a bad batch od dishwasher soap because it wasn't disolving completely. We changed brands today and the same thing happens. The door for the soap is not opening soon enough. That's what I think anyway. What needs to be replaced as the first option?
Answer Rodger, You will want to check the water temperature in the unit to make sure that the temp is above 120 degrees as this will also cause the issue. If the detergent door indeed is not opening at the correct time then you would want to replace the control board. Also make sure that the door is not being impeded from opening as well. Read More...
