Richard M. for Model Number GVW9959K My whirlpool calypso washer suddenly started turning on its control panel, and beeping when it was not in use. I unplugged it and later plugged it back in and it was ok for an hour or so then it lit up again. I pushed the off button and it went off, but when I released it the panel was on again, and it won't go off unless I unplug it. Does this mean the whole control panel needs replaced? If so what is the diff. between the panels? Is it hard to change and is there a guarantee on the new part?
