Answer William, Water dripping on the floor from the vent, is a good indication of : A water temperature thats too hot. Detergent or rinse aid, thats "foaming" during the cycle. or improper loading on the upper rack(water being blown into the door vent cover.As for the missing parts(kickplate and, or lower access cover) You should contact the manufacturer to get a proper explanation and resolution.
