Hermie V for Model Number NFW7200TW10 Washer was spinning out of control, walking across the floor, shut down at 8 minutes left on timer, and flashed a 3E code. Had drained and spun. Shut it off, waited a minute, and hit the cycle start, it then proceeded to rinse, spin slowly, drain, rinse, spin slowly, drain, etc. Did this for several minutes, however, the timer stayed at 8 minutes. Manually shut it down, opened and found the clothes spun dry. Started the next load and ran fine until final spin. Spun out of control, walked away from wall, stopped at 8 minutes, and flashed 3E again. Speed sensor???? It seems that it has lost the limit on the spin speed. If stopped and new cycle started, it will again get all the way to the final high speed spin before shutting down. Did not find a part listed as speed sensor. Is it part of the main board? Thanks much.
Answer Hermie, The 3E error code is a motor failure or overcurrent, You will want to check the motor on the unit and the sensor. These would be the most likely cause for this issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, February 12, 2019
